LCD TV – CRT television industry history revised

How often we use our cell phones, calculators or sunglasses? The technology is not far off or surprising. An effective media attracting people on a broader spectrum, CRT television breaks the conventional features by introducing a familiar form of technology, LCD.

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) display technology uses two glass sheets with liquid crystal solution between them, undergoes polarization. A contrasting technology, solid (crystal) behaving like liquid property is exhibited. When certain voltage is passed through, crystals form a naturally twisted crystalline structure; liquid crystals twist by the intensity of light. Florescent bulb acts as external source of light which emits white light through the glass panes behind the liquid crystal solution.

LCD TV’s display property makes it unique through its inbuilt features. The flat panel technology allows the user to watch TV at different angles upto 160 degrees and lifespan is about 60000 hours. Switching as a computer monitor and playing video games is fun on LCD TVs. Its designs make it simple to handle because of lighter weight and can withstand variations in air pressure. Due to this, airplanes employ LCD TV for display which can work on higher altitude as high as 6500 feet and above.

LCD TV ventured into the market by the end of 2007 and surpassed with 50% of sales in 2008 as compared to CRT television sets. The LCD TC market is dominated in line with Sony model KDL-40XBR6 on #1 following Samsung, sharp and LG models.

How many of us are not influenced? lets find out

Every human being passes through God made life cycle, a trend in iteself-Birth, growth and death. This article accounts for a brief analysis conveying a different aspect of our thinking and action.

Infancy ( infant-2 years ) : After struggling for months (months vary), a young offspring is born into the world of unknown(to the infant). An infant is unable to speak and hence cries, a basic form of communication trying to express his varied emotions. Infants are influenced by mothers or call as dependency for survival. The influence is in the form of food i.e, milk. The mother either chooses to give her own or bottled and sometimes both.

Toddlerhood ( 2 - 4 years ) : As an infant matures, the development of language, fantasy, learning to walk, play engages him and parents can feel seperation. A child gains physical strength, set some horizons and learns the way the world around them works. Although infancy has taken over and now can try to communicate other than cry, yet influences of the world still exist by their way of repeating the words and doing what the most influential person acts upon.

School Age( 4 - 10 years ) : School is a place of early moral development. There is group play acting in child's life for the first time. Here the child catches easy as he knows the difference between initiative Vs. guilt. The group influences in different ways like culture, child's motivational levels, Lifestyles, varying values and so on.

Adoloscence ( 10 - 19 ) : Generic and environmental factors play major role varies with each individual, the most inflential being, to name a few, thinking style, stress and strain on mind, emotional shocks. Both the genders undergo normal physiological changes in the body. Both the genders, are conscious about their personal appearances. The harmonal secretions influence on their behavior, less simple to discern and hence a societal costruct.

Adulthood ( 19 - 65 ) : Being wrapped in society, the adults feel responsible, busy building relationships(Family), strive to create Individual identity and their respective role in society. With an enormous talent and determination to work on, impulses a willingness to encounter any issues arising out of decision making on their own accord. They focus on career, a better future, learning the value of tangible and intangible objects. There is increase in financial and emotional investments and at a certain stage look for stability .

Maturity ( 65 years above) : All these years energy boosts up for newer things happening stage by stage until this age. Can anyone imagine, redirecting the same energy to a new role-and guess what it is? There is no influence at this stage rather the person develops a point of view about Death!

YES, I conclude. It is where one has time to think about one's life. It is often contrary between the reutorical words, Integrity and despair. Having acheived all what one has to do, similar to a normal person, He has to be happy. Alas! in despair NO.

Therefore, Think and ACT on your own accord. Do not get influenced or depend on others, to an extent.

Wordsworth's Nature Love-Closer view

Everyone has perception about love in their lives. I too have and still persisting. We perceive this love in various forms, for instance-Nature, the greatest form and accessible to every living with perceptible senses.

William Wordsworth is worth remembering for his poems on Nature and is popularly known as 'Nature Poet'. We have read, voluntarily or forcefully, in the least one of his poems and includes, the famous one, 'I wandered lonely as a cloud'.

It is worth by-hearting in school days because of its expression of thoughts, sense of happiness and words woven to make even a school boy of 12 years can imagine the scenic beauty descripted. We see a glorified art of beauty through this poem.

On the contrary, critically analysing, his sister Dorothy's Journal is also worth reading. the excerpt-Dorothy Wordsworth, The Grasmere Journal - Thursday 15 April 1802. She writes about their walk through the Glencoyne Bay called the Ullswater which is said to be the inspiration in writing this famous poem.

*Excerpt from Dorothy's journal:

http://oldpoetry.com/opoem/2902-William-Wordsworth--I-wandered-lonely-as-a-cloud-

'When we were in the woods beyond Gowbarrow Park, we saw a few daffodils close to the water side. We fancied that the lake had floated the seed ashore and that the little colony had so sprung up. But as we went along there were more and more and at last under the boughs of the trees, we saw that there was a long belt of them along the shore, about the breadth of a country turnpike road. I never saw daffodils so beautiful they grew among the mossy stones about and about them, some rested their heads upon these stones as on a pillow for weariness and the rest tossed and reeled and danced and seemed as if they verily laughed with the wind that blew upon them over the lake, they looked so gay ever dancing ever changing.

This wind blew directly over the lake to them. There was here and there a little knot and a few stragglers a few yards higher up but they were so few as not to disturb the simplicity and unity and life of that one busy highway. We rested again and again. The Bays were stormy, and we heard the waves at different distances and in the middle of the water like the sea'.

Astonished as I was, while reading her excerpts agree that publication might have released this poem, 'I wandered lonely as a Cloud' as one of the Wordworth's poetry collection. But, there are rumors that be by any chance that Dorothy Wordsworth, under the influence of her brother, would have written the poem.
